heyy!! 🙋🏻♀️
Long time no see (or no write?)
How have you been??
I feel like I’ve been up to so much since the last time I wrote. Probably because it’s been more than a month since.
But also because I’ve travelled twice within a month! (very unusual)
The first update is that I have a new “website”!!! I still have the old one, but I wanted to create an informal corner for EVERYTHING I do. The idea is to keep the current one as the professional one, which I will update when I officially get back to web design.
For some time now I’ve wanted to create an informal website to collect projects, works-in-progress, notes, inspiration, and anything else I can think of. Kind of as a place to drop anything I find worth putting in there.
I’ve already put a few pages in there. They are sorted from most recently updated to last. Updates to the website will be shared in the Newsletter!
I also have ideas for future pages, like: “everything i crocheted” and “closet & outfit planner”, where I’ll have all my clothes and create outfits in.
My boyfriend and I took a road trip through France, 8th–16th March, of which I made these designs. There’s also a premiere pro file with some pasted videos from the trip waiting for me to open it.
And then I walked (a lot) in Euskadi and Cantabria through beautiful landscapes and gave my knee a pain-shaped souvenir. There was mud, sand, blood, blisters and bad nights, but this year no tears! It was a nice experience, as was last year — we do 4 days a year starting last April.
Also took videos which have not yet made a premiere pro file, but will in the near future.
In between these trips, I took some time to do some extra university work. One of the projects was a Kandinsky version of a Dalí sculpture with p5.js code.
This is the result 😅🧐. It was pretty fun to make, not gonna lie! Click for more details about the project.
I also crocheted a some projects. I noticed I am getting faster at crocheting, I remember the first hat I made took me at least double the time that this one took:
I also decided to make something to sell, and made this bag out of scrap yarn. I loved it so much I wanted to keep it, but I still put it up for sale on Vinted.
I might sell some more crochet stuff I do not use. I have granny squares that never got to a project and thought I could turn them into cute lil keychains.
Did you ever take a roadtrip? Where was it?
Have you walked the Camino de Santiago? Have you ever thought about doing it?
What hobby is taking more of your interest recently?
Thank you so much for reading,
Núria. <3
